Frequently Asked Questions

PLEASE NOTE: Only a small handful of our travel experiences are on the site.

How are your travel packages different from other providers?

Many of our trips offer “off the beaten path” travel experiences. We’ve noticed that highly coveted destinations such as Italy packaged often come with the same, repetitive itineraries. We try to offset that by offering some road less traveled options because often non profit donors are very well traveled individuals.

We offer with and without flight packages, and the flight inclusive ones are valid from any major airport in the continental US.

We’re about travel, which is different from tourism. We curate travel packages for travelers like ourselves.

  • unlimited flexibility

  • 3 year expiration

  • outstanding expertise and customer service

We can provide your non profit with trips that are targeted exactly towards your donors’ demographics. From budget friendly to luxury, European to exotic destinations, and 3 star to 5 star experiences.

Social impact travel is what we love most.

What are the rules around your packages

The trips have a three (3) year validity from the day of the event (except Bucket List trip)

As far as blackout dates, we have none, but we do ask that if one wants to travel during peak travel days (whether local to the destination or to the US), we’re given a minimum of 6 months to plan. This facilitates a more pleasant booking and travel experience.

What marketing tools do you provide?

We provide you with PDFs of the trip, with high resolution photos, and everything the trip includes. The PDFs can be printed in 18x24 or smaller format and you can utilize them for silent auction display. We can provide you with bid sheets if needed.

For live auctions, we provide you with a slide show that can be projected while the auctioneer is auctioning. The slide show has similar content as the PDF, just in a slide format, with high resolution visuals.

If you raffle the trip, you will be provided with a PDF or a slide presentation.

Can a package be sold multiple times?

Of course. As many times as you need to raise as many funds as you need.

Do you have recommendations on starting bids?

We don’t because we don’t know your donor base, but on most trips we would start by adding $800-$1000.

TRAVEL PACKAGES

Do you provide Covid guidance to donors?

Yes. Donors will be guided through the booking process on Covid restrictions for every destination they will be traveling to.

Do you allow changes on the trips?

Your donors can make changes to their travel package to their heart’s contentment. This includes adding people, changing destinations or creating a new itinerary altogether. If there is a significant difference in cost they will obviously be notified in advance.

Are there any additional fees or taxes on the travel packages?

Unless upgrades or changes that warrant extra fees are made, the travel package covers everything. The only exception is peak travel time booked without enough lead time.

We also highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, particularly for international travel.

Can you provide packages for groups?

Yes of course. Give us two weeks to put together what you need.

What is the process for payment of the trips?

Your charity can write us a check, or wire funds via ACH.

What is the process for the redemption of trips?

The winning donors will have a document that certifies their win, with the details of the trip, trip redemption steps, and the event they attended. We provide these documents to your charity before the event so you can dispatch them to your winners immediately after they pay.
Within 72 hours after the event, we request you provide us with information on your winning donors (name, phone, email and trip code).
We then invoice your charity for the trips sold, and once payment is settled we reach out to your donors.

What type of properties do you book?

It depends on the itinerary, however, on average, the properties in our packages are 3.5 to 4.5 star properties. The properties are vetted and have a track record of being very satisfactory to guests. Every itinerary can be upgraded if the donors is a 5 star only donor.

Our Responsible Traveler Series are for a more specific type of experience. Accommodations will always be clean and well maintained properties, which are mostly the equivalent of 3+ star accommodations. In most cases, an upgraded social impact travel experience can also be booked at an extra cost.

Are there covid restrictions on the travel packages?

Covid restrictions vary from country to country and keep changing. We will guide travelers through the booking process on what the restrictions or rules are to travel to their destination if there are any.

Can changes be made to bookings?

Depending on the booking and how far out the travel dates are, changes might be possible. In some instances a change fee will apply.

Can the trips be transferred to other people?

Of course! the trips can be transferred to other people as gifts or for other reasons. We just need the approval in writing from the original winners.

Do the travel packages include travel insurance?

No, but we highly recommend purchasing insurance, and we can recommend some resources.

WHAT ELSE?

Do you offer event type experiences such as sports & entertainment events ?

We are strictly focused on travel for travelers like ourselves. In all honesty events are not our strength because we are not passionate about them. If you are looking for event type packages such as sports events, concerts or things of that nature, we will gladly refer you to other providers that can offer that type of service.

Can you recommend an auctioneer for our event?

We certainly can.

What are the ways you contribute to causes you care about?

We commit to donating a percentage of our profits to some of the charities we service on an annual basis. All causes are important but those that involve children, animals/wildlife, environmental and women’s causes are where our heart’s strings get pulled the most.

Oh yes, also…. Life happens right?

Sometimes donors/travelers for whatever reason, end up not using their trip within the three years. If that’s the case, we return 66% of the trip package price to the charity that sold it. We won’t be fulfilling it so we don’t think it’s fair we keep it.
