On this eight day getaway, you will start in Rome, and spend two days exploring the Italian capital, maybe while tasting different gelato flavors and admiring the Piazza from the staircase. Take a tour of the Colosseum and visualize gladiators entertaining the plebs, or tour Michelangelo’s, Raffaello’s and other artwork in the Sistine Chapel.

Then you are headed for the Amalfi coast. Here you must not miss Positano and Amalfi of course, but the smaller villages of Ravello, Praiano and Cetara also deserve some time. You will take a tour of Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii, the mind blowing archeological site from ancient Roman era, where you’ll imagine what the citizens who were frozen in time were doing.

Or, you can take a day tour to the glamorous yet quaint island of Capri.
